    I guess I'll be the dissenting voice here... She's definitely the type of gal that attracts attention, and I appreciate the fact that she puts herself out there but...

    I don't think she's anything special - ya I'd certainly look at her when she walked by on the street, but if she didn't absolutely flaunt what she had and didn't have the professional stylists I honestly don't think anyone would hardly notice her at all. There are scads of women that given those benefits would probably be far more impressive...

    while i understand the thought process behind this, it's simply not true. i used to believe this as well.

    part of what makes katy perry so hot is her antics (twitter stuff), her ability to entertain (not necessarily a good singer) and then on top of that, her celebrity status.

    the average everyday woman cannot do some of the above mentioned, which is why they are the average everyday woman and not a celebrity. being hot, gorgeous + + + goes beyond just good looks.

    i dont know if this makes sense? :confused:
