    I came about as close as I will ever come to that possibility when a few years back I was sitting on a bench in the East Village of Manhattan, where Padma once owned an apartment, and she walked by me, then paused, turned at me, looked me up and down, and gave me the f--k me eyes. My jaw hit the floor and I naturally reached for my crotch as she turned away and resume walking (I did not play it cool).
