This show is going to be nothing but a hit piece on Sarah Palin. Shows how much Hollywood fears her.

Nothing at all to fear of Sarah Palin.

It's the people who value the stupid things she has to say one should worry about.

I can't think of a single example of a political satire that was actually funny. W. was mildly amusing at best. Primary Colors was such a load of shit that I heckled it in the theater.

I'm sure you've seen it, but you should shove the naysayers in the general direction of 'In the Loop', it's The Thick of it, but it has americans(tony soprano) in it as well.
Be warned this is not safe for work or people without a sense of humour

I spoke in far too general terms:

Yes, there have been some excellent sketches over the years. I love that Dana Carvey opened his ABC show with Bill Clinton breast feeding babies, puppies, and kittens.

It's long-form satire of real politicians that almost always falls flat.

Question to the guys who recommended 'The Thick of It', 'Yes, Minister', and 'In the Loop': are they based heavily on real people or are they more of a composite of contemporary issues and scandals?

Dana Carvey as Ross Perot and Phil Hartman as James Sockdale was classic stuff. You almost had to feel bad for Stockdale because Hartman made the decorated war hero look like a complete dope, but it was too damn funny.

Why would Hollywood "fear" Sarah Palin? Just curious.
