    I just read what happened, another car in front of her waived the child to cross the street and she went around that car obviously not knowing the car's driver had waived the child on... I'm going to side with her on this one based on that. Not saying she is innocent but I think it's more of an accident than it is just another idiot on a cell phone... but she probably should have waited behind the first car knowing that she was on the cell phone...My personal rule is when I'm on the phone in my car I get behind someone and stay there until they change roads or I get off the phone. Sad way for a child to die... Also this waive people on into danger happens at work all the time...better of letting the pedestrian WAIT and figure it out on their own.. more often than not the patient driver who waits is creating a bad situation for the pedestrian!

    Having lived in SoCali and driven in LA.. i can only say this... When people stop in the middle of the lane and DONT have their turn signal on, its for a reason. And it was multiple cars stopped... not just one. That is a fucking asshole move, anywhere you live. You DONT go around blindly, especially while talking on a cellphone/not paying attention to what is going on around you. At the same time... i CANNOT FUCKING STAND when people do this. It disrupts traffic and stops the flow of LOGIC while driving. People crossing the road need to go to a fucking crosswalk, not the middle of the road. I HATE people in New England that stop in the middle of a road to let someone who has their turn signal on in a perpendicular crossroad to get in front of them.... i mean... WAIT YOUR FUCKING TURN. Wait for a clearing and then get into the road! This sort of shit is why accidents happen. Dont even get me started on people who turn into traffic and block one way of travel waiting for the clearing in the other lane's traffic. BostonRocks will know all about this =) Ok sorry for off-topic haha
