    It's hard to believe that there was a time when smoking was considered sexy. Now... She's still hot today, but when she's 30 she'll be washed up. If she didn't smoke, she would still be a hottie at 30. Well, let's hope she does a nude scene while she is still pretty.

    You do realize it takes two seconds to poke a hole in a generality like that, don't you? How washed up is Kate Beckinsale? Because she's 37 and smokes, yet is still quite amazing, so obviously simply being a smoker doesn't automatically mean she'll wind up an aged piece of leather before her time like Lindsay Lohan. Natalie Portman just turned 30 and smoked for a while, if she doesn't still smoke, and unless giving birth made her fall off a cliff hotnesswise, then I doubt she'd qualify as being "washed up" either.

    Anti-smoking is fine.

    Loud militant anti-smoking is stupid.

    Smoking isn't allowed in almost all enclosed public areas.
    99.9% of all smokers will put it out if asked politely even in an open area.

    Jogging along a high traffic roadway is equal to smoking 2 packs a day on your lungs.

    So go jogging and leave the smokers alone.
