I'm trying to explain to you that the reason celebs do this is because nobody thinks about the consequences of it. The proof is that so many people do it despite having plenty to lose. And no, Miranda Cosgrove does not stand to lose more than your sister. It could be ruinous for both if their employers or coworkers found out about it, and the embarrassment is the same for both. In fact, the average person stands to lose way more. If Miranda Cosgrove has a nude photo scandal and loses her Nick job, she can still sing or do movies. If your sister loses her job at the law firm, there's a very real possibility that she never gets another job in that field again, or at least doesn't for a long time.

Ok to clarify, I was only focussing on those who have been celebs from a young age (before sexuality) and for them to learn from these others (photos/sex tape), as they hit an age to maybe do something like it.

Yes, it absolutely does have something to do with your point. You're asking why these girls don't learn from watching others, and I gave my opinion, which was that they don't learn because it has to do with being in love or in lust, where logic really doesn't have any jurisdiction. They're not just randomly snapping nude pictures of themselves, they're doing it for their boyfriends.

Celebrities are human, too. They're regular people who just happen to be famous. They eat, shit, get into fistfights and text nude pictures to each other just like we do. Their consequences aren't any worse than ours. Yes, in terms of sheer numbers, yes, but in relative terms, no.

 

Celebs do have more to lose.

Their entire livelihood/ carrer depends on what people think about them and how they look in the public eye.

The girl next door is not recognized by half of the world.. Selena Gomez is.

And I agree celebs are human butt I also agree that things can very well be lessons to the younger generation.

Hell, many celebs now have become famous just because of nude photos. Others have not suffered because of them. I am sure this girl will use this to transition into something else. Anyway, she has a nice ass!

 

Yeah, for most celebrities, it doesn't impact their careers at all. Vanessa Hudgens didn't even lose her Disney gig from it, though it has probably affected her in other, more subtle ways. Blake Lively's career is no better or worse for her pictorial, so what's the loss? It basically boils down to embarrassment.

What if at the age of 18 this girl had aspirations to become a famous semi-nude or nude model - a la Victoria's Secret, Sports Illustrated or even Playboy or Penthouse? Maybe she even had plans to become a stripper, who knows? That being the case, I'm sure she had no serious qualms about appearing in such explicit nude photos.

Lots of top famous fashion models appear in semi-nude to nude pictorials and make naked live appearances, so maybe she is a failed model who finally got her career on track with the Miss Sprint gig. Depending on what she originally intended as a career direction this may either be a boon or a bust (pun intended) for her future endeavors.

And by the way, I'm sure that a lot of people have acted out the fantasy that the woman is a sultry, sexy Playboy model and the guy is a famous photographer hired to take her pics and make her famous. Or am I just giving away too much personal information?
