    Looks like it.The jacket is a tip off.If you look at some of the photos,it looks like he is carrying a concealed handgun.The non-descript guys like him are usually the most dangerous.

    Of course to get a job like that he is likely ex-SAS or something similar.

    For those above thinking this is a PR stunt or photo op, you're wrong.

    This isn't the first time that Kate has been shopping at a supermarket since she and William got married.

    They don't live in one of the royal castles but on the Air Sea Rescue base on Anglesey where William works as a helicopter pilot.

    They made it clear that they want to live as normal a life there as they can and don't have hordes of servants etc.

    As for security, her Protection Officer will be v close but not wearing a suit and dark shades like some obvious Secret Service agent.

    ppl with "normal lives" don't have a pro-camera man following them when they
    go out shopping

    it's part of a deliberate attempt to bond with "the people" in this media savvy world....and i say this as a Royalist not a critic :D

    These "pro-camera" men as you call them are paparazzi or tabloid photogs who follow her around like any celebrity just to get pics for the papers.

    Since she got married, even her sister gets followed everywhere, as you can see by the number of posts here about her.

    I don't believe that Kate would ever feel the need to fake being normal to "bond" with the nation. I think most people think that she's a down to earth person already and doesn't need to be in the papers to prove it.

    Just my opinion anyway :)
