...I remember someone saying once that it was a bit of disappointment that the vid forum turned into a porn feast...not sure who that was, but they had a good point. It was phun while it lasted...but it definitely got out of control. People became obnoxious and rude towards fellow members of phun.org about the number of contributions, screencaps, dead links and their opinions...it was a harsh welcome for new guys and those that didn't have something over 50 posts.
It started out being a place where you could place vids (not full movies) and have people comment on them...instead it turned into a place of who was superior and had more power. I'm not happy that the change has happened...but I understand why it had to happen...so my sadness will soon subside and I will embrace the new phun.org forum................................however it ends up...

I figured this day will come eventually. With that HUGE list of banned material, you know you had to do it Cayne. I'm happy that we still get free pics from the models.

The best part is the forum actually works now, without having to wait 1 minute for the page to render.

i'll just say what's already been said 100 times in this thread ... it was phun while it lasted and a part of me will miss the old phun forum .... another part of me is excited to see what happens to the 'new' forum

I joined this place after seeing all the free porn floating around and was welcomed as a member. I guess we took for granted what we had here, but it was a huge surprise that this happened. But in my near on 1 year as a member of phun, I've grown to really love the place and the members, the banter on here was second to none. Despite this setback, the phun forums will remain and hopefully grow big once again. I'd hope that everyone sticks around to see the next phase and how it goes.

And thank fuck that the Celeb Forum is unaffected by all this

 

Well, can't say i'm happy about the change but i'm not gonna bitch over this just because I can't get my free porn anymore. I stumbled upon this site just searching for some pics and then realized what a great site this really was. I continued coming back atleast once a day and began making regular contributions. I haven't been here long but the time that I have been here, I did notice that this was a bit too good to stay around. All the great content, it had to end at some point as all good things do. I'm not going to completely stop coming here just probably not as much, but i'll continue to check back on the regular. But to everyone who gave me links and really made me want to start being a regular contributor here, I say thank you. It's a shame that I had plenty more coming but it's not the end of the world. Phun shall live on.

 

Wow, look at the people crying because they got there free porn cut off. Now I am not saying I am one of the original members but I have been here long enough before there was a vid vault, celeb, and about phun I think when I started out there were 3 or 4 forums. I like this forum and I like most of the members but for the past few months I have been getting sick of reading the same bs and the same whining on every post. So I went back to my oringinal forum full time and started working on some projects with my friends. You cannot blame Cayne or anybody else for the forum changes but yourselves. If you guys did not start posting up site rips, entire website content, or full dvd rips we would not have to shut anything down. Word of mouth and linking this forum, and the over zealous members are killing this forum. This forum was becoming a contest to see who can get other members to bow down to them and to become the king of porn. Big fucking deal if you have the entire site rips or every vid on a website. Most of you brag about it and don't post up or if you do you don't know the phrase "in moderation." Besides most of you guys crying they can't get there porn fix are either leechers who registered today to cry, never posted any content, or people who milk this forum to post stuff on other forums.

Why the fuck is everyone crying? Porn's easy to come by, and when I turn up in the morning, I'll check far more threads in the General Forum than in any of the other 4 forums combined.

And why the fuck do half the posts in here sound like fucking obituaries? If you're not happy, don't comment. Just go away, and steal porn from somewhere else. The death of phun begins.

I've been part of phun before there even was a forum. The main page with thong weekly votes and Cayne's link updates with grammatical errors are a phucking hoot. When this forum first started out it was kickass, very few posters with good content. It turned into a shit swamp of posts and content way to outrageous. I knew this day would come, too many users too many site rips. Cayne could have(or should have) gone in different ways with this forum earlier on, but he didn't. It doesn't matter really though it's his forum he can run it like he wants too. Hopefully it gets back to the early days of good quality content and not a bunch of shit. I would think that switching the forum to registered members only would be a good move or hell even having to pay a one time deal for the forum could weed out a lot bullshit peeps. I only really went into the babes forum for the Ash updates anyway and movies i can get pretty easly through torrentz and other means
