i can't speak for all of phun.org, but I'm not the only one who thinks hateful comments are uncalled-for.
If we stay with this example: i like Kim and want to share her pics on here.. i've done this quite some time now but i start to lose interest in doing so cause mostly the first or second comment on a thread of her is some sort of hateful insulting bullcrap!
it's like, if you meet with some buddys to have a good time and someone brings this person you don't like.. you won't constantly make insulting comments about that person, cause you'd be the impolite douche of the evening who doesn't know how to behave... way to kill the vibe i'd say..

Well, I think she is absolutely beautiful! Sometimes her butt is a little too big and bumpy (cellulite) for me but her face is amazing!

 

I'm sympathetic to your view but this is a FORUM and people should be allowed to post their thoughts on things, trying to limit comments to only positive is the quickest way to kill ANY discussion/interaction which ends in no one commenting at all beyond 'Thanks' and 'Lovely' and etc...

For myself, thanks for this and your other posts and I personally think Kim is smoking hot and would cheerfully sodomize her for days on end if she offered.

How is his post in ANY sense of the word disrespectful to the poster? Kim YES, poster NO... Respect to ya Mags but I just had to say it. This trend of not allowing people to criticise celebs here on Phun. is, I believe anyway, one of the things that is freezing out discussions and posting. I see a definite lessening of posts recently and there ARE other reasons for it but this type thing doesn't help imo.

Seriously why would you continue to go into Kim Kardashian posts if you don't like her ... makes no sense to me.

I think it's an issue when the sole purpose of entering a thread is to hate. I don't do it personally, because it would say more about me than the person I was going out of my way to to slag off. Coming into a thread, seeing something you think is worth discussing, why not? But to barrel in hateful bullshit ready to drop, it's sad and more for the hater than anybody else, I feel embarrassed for them. I do believe in free speech and ultimately this is in the hands of the mods/admin.


It doesn't stop me cringing on their behalf when they stamp into a thread to proudly announce their view and reinforce their clearly visible sense of self worth, though. Get a hold of yourself and show yourself some respect.
