Phun`s Advent Calender 2011 - "macht hoch die tuer..." - 11/30/11 - 12/24/11

..."die die tor macht weit" - "es kommt ein schiff geladen".
i don`t consider myself as overly religious, but i always admired those festive advent-chorals. they added to the eagerly waiting for christmas-eve when i was young(er) - and that hasn`t changed over the years.


anyways... here`s to phun - the 6th. "Phun Advent Calender" (check for the previous ones here, if you want). check back often (wouldn`t mind daily) - each day from 21/1 to 12/24 there will be some phun-model-forum-style-eye-candy behind the respective door ready to be opened. hope you enjoy this little add-on to your anticipation of christmas (or - i´m well aware that not everyone here faces pleasant holidays - helps to make it through the next couple of weeks).

okay, the "game is on". door one in initial post is prepared, klick to open. hence some snow is nice during the season (well, at least in pictures) i`ll let these stay here, changes going on in post one. have phun!

Since we donot have that kind of snowy winters around here i particularly enjoy these..

 

I absolutely detest winter , but wow ... those are some real amazing shots!

 

winter... there are always ways to keep yourself warm and comfortable... Jenni might very well help with that.

 

The images of winter you find are often more breathtaking than the models. No easy task. Looking forward to this, what I consider a highlight of the season. Thanks in advance Riv for all the time and effort you put into the calendar. It's quite the gift to us all.

that`s exactly what it is supposed to be, Scribe. a little "traditional" (do 6 years make a tradition already?) phun for the season.
took me a while to figure how to make things a little more "thrilling", but couldn`t find a way inside phun, so... bear with it - apparently there are some who are enjoying it so far - thanks for checking in - one third is already "in the books". time flies

anyways - hope you ha(d)ve some fun. for those already heading for their place of celebration: have a merry, healthy (if favored: blessed) christmas, enjoy some quality times with your beloved ones and a great start into 2012.
