    They just won it all a few seasons ago. I wish my Indians could say they were in a playoff slump after winning a Series in the last five years.

    your Indians dont have a $225 million payroll though. it's different in Yankee land than it is in the AL Central. it's a slump when you make it to the playoffs almost every year since 1995 (and in 1997 we lost to YOUR Indians) and only twice in the last 11 years have they won the whole thing. that's a slump when you've won it 27 times.

    Hopefully when the Dodgers get a new owner they start buying players like the yankees, I'd luv to see a payroll higher than 200 mil!

    Don't get me wrong here. I do like the Yankees. I may not hold them near and dear to my heart, but I do like seeing them win as long as it doesn't come at Cleveland's expense. But, you guys are spoiled. lol

    By the way? Both times the Indians beat the Yankees in the playoffs in the last 20 years? Epic losses by Cleveland. 97 I block out completely. 07 is still fresh though. I guess the moral of this story is that from now on, I hope Cleveland doesn't have to beat the Yankees in the playoffs. Nothing good comes from it.
