    It's cool, sitonb and I hate to derail this thread more so, but I stand by my statement. I don't have an issue with him not liking her style and image these days, but to claim "she's been raped by the music industry" to look this way I do have a problem with. When she first came out in 2005 she was clearly groomed to look like another Britney, Xtina, Milian, Ashanti etc, but once she gained enough success especially after the massive hit that was Umbrella she started to become a more confident, individual performer and artist. She cut her hair real short much to the dismay of her record label, and has only distinguished herself more and more ever since. She's obviously comfortable and confident in her sexuality, and certainly loves to express it, (which she's attributed to her Caribbean heritage) and if someone wants to call her a whore for it, fine I get that some people are gonna be uncomfortable with such an overt sexual image. I just hope no one here is body shaming women for flaunting their sexuality however they like tho. Peace out.

    seriously, do you really believe this "i got older and more confident, so i express myself now and dont let the music bosses influence my image" that Britney, Xtina and now Rihanna stated? Everybody blamed the labels for making Britney and Christina this innocent, girly teenagers. And after a few years they both got dirty and stated "That who i am in real". Are you that naiv to believe that? Making girls like Britney , Christina and now Rihanna dirty and let them state that no one can influence them, is the same marketing strategie like the "girly image" in the 90s. So youre saying THAT is how Rihanna really is??? Have you EVER seen a girl who dresses like that in public. When was the last time we saw Rihanna in a kinda normal outfit??? Im pretty sure the label bosses pushing her into that dirty image because they make a shit lot of money with it.
