    At any rate, it couldn't possibly be worse than the original trilogy.

    I enjoyed the original trilogy, the first 2 especially. the third not as much but still not bad. With all new people Idk how this could be as good.

    Well, it's a reboot. Of course there will be a whole new cast... I thought Raimi's trilogy was campy at times.

    I agree, the actors are good. My issue is with the decision to reboot and put him back in high school. I'm also of the opinion that the costume redesign totally blows. It looks like a tracksuit that Nike would have come up with. But hey, Ihope I'm proven wrong.

    Well, to be honest, if they never made another comic book movie, it would be too soon. I was very disappointed by the original trilogy, and basically everything outside of Batman Begins (and the first Batman movie with Michael Keaton) has been hot garbage. I guess the first X-Men movie was okay, and The Dark Knight was solid, if completely overrated--but there again, it's watchable in spite of the cheese because its full of good actors. So at least this next iteration won't have Willem Dafoe hamming it up while James Franco and Tobey Maguire fighting over who's going to be more awkward on-screen.
