Poll: If we were to allow Depositfiles as an approved host?.............

You asked this ?? 2 months ago! 2/3 of the people said DO IT.............get off your butt & incorporate 2-3 more hosts otherwise you'll be gone in 2 more months of this indecision.

 

for god's sake add DF already. they are a great filehost and links seem to last longer there than with a lot of others.

i have had issues with rapidshare. i had an account and when i tried to end it could not for the life of me make it work. ran me around in circles and could never make it end. eventually had to cancel my credit card and get a new one to make the charges stop.
for other sites im a free user so i accept things might be slow if i don't pay. but i don't download often and so don't feel the need to open accounts. get what you pay for i understand. but when i did i got fucked..........?

I was downloading a file from there earlier, was getting 600KBs as free user!!

Couldn't believe it!!

 

It looks so.. Too bad, Phun has a great potential.

 

The poll was started in Feb. we have now end of April, when will be a decision be made?

IMO give the posters and downloaders more option, they have all good things and bad things, depending if you are a member or just a guest, some have more adds some have less, I don't understand why this is a big thing ?
Certainly I understand why not every hoster should be allowed, but since filesonic is gone, give some of the better known, like deposit, rapidgator.... a try, who cares if some of the posters make a couple of bucks or you doing it just for phun, posting should be phun.

This has turned into a pointless thread as nothing is getting approved. Nor are the mods even posting a reply on what they think are the pros/cons as to why this is taking so long.

Those of you in Europe are most likely the main beneficiaries from the addition of DF and RG, but they are both extremely slow for those of us in the Americas. RS, HF and MF have proven to be reliable and reasonably quick. Those of you who upload would do many downloaders a favor by using DF and RS, HF or MF. When I see a choice of DF or RG, I have to bypass them as not worth the effort. I, and many others, cannot afford to add multiple host accounts to those already held.
