Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Recently I've been spotting a lot of new people signing up and posting celeb threads, which is normally a good thing. But I'm a bit concerned about the amount of these 'pay-per-click' image-hosts that people are using. We don't want to see them. Inevitably, there'll be a lot of reposts because some people don't care about the quality of what they post, it's more about the money they make. Hosts like imagevenue.com , mediaupload.net , keepmyfile.com are highly recommended.

    These are some examples of hosts that we don't want to see being used on these boards:

    - Imagecash
    - Image2share
    - Imagegravy
    - Darkwars
    - PicBux
    - linkbux
    - Imageshack
    - CashMoneyUploads
    - FileBounty

    If you spot people posting pics with these or any 'pay-per-click' host, please report it in the Forum Issues thread and we'll take care of it.

    Lastly, can we bump the fuck out of this thread for a few days just to get the message through. Cheers.

    People who use ImageCrash and other similar hosts aren't in it for the swapping and enjoying of images, but about making money. Money that they probably won't get, because hosts like ImageCash keep moving the goal posts. First it was a dollar for 1000 unique image views, then it was a dollar for 2000... what is it now?

    I know that these people don't care for the sharing of images, otherwise why would they go and save images that other people have hosted at Imagevenue and then upload it to their Imagecash account? Instead of just reposting the same BB Code?

    Keep ImageCash and ImageGravy and every other ppc image host out and phun.org will never go to shit. :D

    I believe the word is 'bump'.

    And mediaupload's been slow as shit for me lately, loading both thumbs and full images (of which it only loads about 10% before declaring itself 'Done'). Is that just a firefox issue?

    Totally with you there...mediaupload is starting to suck a$$...they have some kind of message about "upgrading soon", but I got all kinds of half-way done images the other night. Also using the 'Fox, so maybe it's just us...
