Does it seem like Kate has lost some weight? She's looking a little unhealthy. Biel isn't aging so well judging by these pics.

 

I think it's a combination of her somewhat odd eye make-up and the harsh lighting. Otherwise, she looks the same to me.

 

Remaking this movie is the single worst idea Hollywood has come up with yet, especially with that asshole as Quaid. Quato will be rolling over in his grave after he gets shot.

 

can't someone get one good ass shot of Kate in those pants.....really is that asking too much. c'mon man.

 

Oh please, the original Total Recall is one of the most overrated B-movies in film history. A film filled with bad, over the top acting, bad dialogue, cheesy one-liners, and cheap looking sets. Spare me the outrage until they remake a real classic, because Total Recall doesn't come close. Robocop was a better Verhoeven film.

As for Colin Farrell, in a drunken stupor he could act Arnold Schwarzenegger's no-talent ass under the table. Arnold is nor ever was an actor worth talking about. He was a guilty pleasure, nothing more. Besides, if you ever read the short story the film is based on, the character wasn't a brute like Schwarzenegger, it was an average guy. In fact, the character was nothing like Schwarzenegger. Give me someone who can act over a brute any day of the week. By the way, Quatto is not real.

 

...And you must be a really good film critic! Keep it that way. I can't wait to read more of your reviews!

Being 38, dark lighting making the sides of her face and eyes darker, weight loss has its effects.
Her face has always been narrow, losing more weight makes it seem even more long/narrow.
Plus she is a long time cigarette smoker.

 

I don't know what to tell you, but I see no difference except for the weird makeup. Her face doesn't look a bit different. She'll show up on Leno tonight looking as hot as ever, and make you forget about these pics that you seem to think are strange. You watch! The photos below were taken a day or two before the event, and she looks the same as always.




Going back to Total Recall, let me reiterate that I like that movie. It's a fun movie. However, I don't believe it comes close to being a classic, and I surely wouldn't hold it up as an example of great filmmaking. It was typical Arnold. Nostalgia has made people hold Arnold's films in much higher regard than they deserve. Because of this, I don't understand the outrage over this remake or reinterpretation, whatever you want to call it. If they remake Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Alien, or films of that stature, then I'll be angry.

 

Since this isn't a 'Remake of Total Recall' thread (it's more about the pictures of the idiots that will be attempting to remake Total Recall) I am not going to get into all the reasons why I would argue with you from now until the sun sets, but be sure of one thing: There are a lot of reasons.
