    The love for one's family is entirely different. It's a reflection of the inadequacies of language ultimately that we call it all "love". We use love to explain countless different relationships that aren't even remotely the same. The love between a man and woman isn't the same as the love between the members of a family, two friends or between a teenager and a cellphone.

    You don't feel that way with your friends because you don't have a biological compulsion to fuck your friends. Although your friends fulfill another critical function--the desire for belonging. You then impregnate your woman and now you've transformed into a creature whose primary function consists of defending the den---this is now the love experienced between members of a family. The love that I am talking about begins prior to the establishment of a family. It's that typical scene in mainstream cinema when a man and woman glance at one another through the corner of their eyes and you know immediately that these two are going to get involved--this is that biological compulsion to fuck. And this carries a relationship on until the family is established and/or it is replaced with a deep-seeded and profound friendship.
