    They're going to show the full Carl's Jr commercial on Thursday's AOTS. Sara announced it during the Feed.

    To be honest with you, sex or half naked women is the last thing I thinking about when I want a burger. Burn size, meat seasonings and size, ketchup to cheese ratio, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, if fries are included, and price are the only things I thinking of when I'm eating a burger, nothing else. Beside I doubt Carl's Jr's burgers are any good. I mean if you have to use half naked women to sell your food and not focus on the food itself, then I beating the food isn't that great. Right now Wendy's Hot and Juicy Cheeseburger is the best burger I've ever eating and I have yet to come across a better tasting burger. I finally found a Five Guys in my area and I wasn't impressed with their burgers, so Wendy's is still #1 in my book.

    Dude I have a B.F.A. in Advertising and Design and "Critical Thinking" was a big part of the curriculum.;) I know all of the ticks Carl's Jr is using in this type of marketing; to sum it up this fall under the "Sex sells" area. You can't BS someone trained in the art of BS. And you're right marketing is an art; it's fully of unbelievable BS, but that BS fools people time and time again and make millions for corporations.

    My apologies. Carls Jr. has a habit of using sex in it's commercials. Personally, I have never understood how it works. I've never felt compelled to purchase a single thing as a consequence of a sexually proactive commercial. Then again, I can't think of ANY commercial that has motivated me to buy something. But, I don't shop much in general.

    I believe they were the first company to bring sexy females eating burgers to commercials. Kim K, Audrey Partridge, etc. I think it's a paradoxical approach, like a photographer shooting a woman in a bikini in the snow. It doesn't make any sense, yet gets your attention. I'm immune to commercials so they don't persuade me to go out and eat a burger, and a 5 ft 100 model would most likely not eat a burger that big more than once a month.
