It needs to become acceptable in this stuck up country for real sex in mainstream movies so our actresses won't feel like their careers would be threatened by letting go on screen.

Be nice to see Halle Berry or Salma Hayek doing hardcore on screen.

 

When Chloë Sevigny was dumped by her agents and put on a virtual black list after 'Brown Bunny', Scarlett Johanssen and her creepy Mother pounced at the opportunity. Be in no doubt about this, If Sevigny hadn't done "Brown Bunny" there would be no Scarlett Johanssen.

Also, I definately remember reading an interview with Sigourney Weaver (in an up-market womens magazine-I've got three older sisters) about 15 years ago, where she said she was wiling to do hardcore scenes in a film, if it was within a feminist analysis of sex.

I think a lot of arty mainstream actresses would do hardcore scenes if the material was good enough. But, there should be no impact on future job prospects.
