    Ummmm....possibly?!?!?

    I kinda already did...problem is the vid's 1) crappy qual to begin with, 2) really dark, and 2) insta-crap'd all to hell.

    Combine all that and then try to lighten it - and past a certain point (which you can see in the vid already), pixels start flyin' like Twinkies at a Weight Watchers convention. :shock:

    Unless you're workin' with Blu-Ray or better, the encode throws tons of blockiness and gradation loss into the dark areas (to save space), which are hidden well enough in the original, but really become visible (to the point of distraction) when you start working with these more than a little.

    You can 'fix' this partially,too - but at the loss of sharpness and clarity also (in most cases), unfortunately.
