    the california coast is infamous for knocking down natural light, it may very well have been sunny, but photographs are always like this vs miami where the natural light photos are fine, hawaii has the same problem, must be something about the pacific ocean

    Not sure if serious. Even post processing or doing just a little work in lightroom would make the colors pop. This just looks bad. Again, this falls on the photog. Bad job out of him.

    To be honest, it looks like the photog set up the white balance for something else, and never flipped it back. Either that or a really cloudy day.
