    With a reduced immune system, an infection put Jack back into the hospital and his heart gave out while fighting it.

    "One journey has ended and another has begun. Jack passed away peacefully at home with gratitude for his life on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 8:07 p.m. at the age of 64. His sister Deborah, two brothers, Jerome and George, his estranged wife and two children, Randall and Jade, survive him. His greatest joys were his photography and his family.

    At Jack's request, no visitation or funeral service will be held. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will occur in January. Sincere thanks to the Toronto General Hospital staff whom their expertise, allowed Jack extra time with on earth. He accepted his impending death with peace and dignity, exactly how he lived his life."
