  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    my first attempt!

    i've never tried to make gifs before, but i'm slowly learning... these are a little chopy because i only had so many pics to work with, i didn't capture the frames myself... so some frames were missing. anyway, enjoy...

    Nice job for your first attempt. Just remember with dark scenes to use VirtualDub to lighten it up some. It brings out the GIFS more.

    thanks, i'll try to edit them a little more next time i make a GIF.. i use Adobe ImageReady, can i use that VirtualDub with that.. and do i have to lighten them up one at a time?

    If Adobe ImageReady excepts AVI files than yes


    You only have to lighten once a particular scene.
