On a side note: Has anybody else wonder what type of long term damage she's doing to herself with each match. Taken all of those blows to the head can't be good for her, no matter how healthy she is. Look at all the damage a lot of retired pro football players are having with Chronic traumatic encephalopathy, also known as CTE, which is caused by repeated head trauma; and those guys wear helmets, UFC Fighters don't. I hope Ronda and the other Fighters doesn't fall victim of the same fate when their older. Sure Ronda's young and having fun winning matches now, but overtime everyone's body has a way of reminding us, especially when we're older, of all the damage we've done to ourselves in our youth.

UFC fighters -- like boxers -- are doing horrible long-term damage to themselves. The only thing that you can take solace in is that now, everybody knows and they are taking the risks with their eyes wide open. However, when you're young and fit and think you can take on the world, you're not worrying your future. Hopefully, some of the more successful MMA fighters get a few big paydays and then quit while they're ahead.

 

Yeah you're right about them taking the risks with their eyes wide open, but the amount of damage that they can get between now and trying to get that big payday could be life changing. What good in having millions of dollars, fame, numerous homes. and cars if you can't enjoy them. It would suck to have all of those riches, but end up with brain injuries so severe that you can remember anything for more than a few seconds or have seizure everyday.
