Okay ladies and gentlemen there has been some discussion regarding the amateur content in the Model Forum as of late and I feel compelled to speak with my fellow amateur content posters.

Basically here is the concerns of some of the senior members and moderators within the forum:

    A. There have been alot of not so quality amateur posts in the Model Forum lately. These posts clog the forum up and make make searching capabilities hard. It also bumps away alot of the good quality threads that are non-amateur.

    B. Anyone can go to a site and rip down 200+ random amateur photos and then post them up on like 50 different forums. This is not the place for that, when everyone starts making their own random amateur threads it just honeslty starts congesting the forum and in turn detracts away from those of us who take our time in posting amateur content and work hard at it like myself, Sancho, Pornstaro, etc...

    Here are my suggestions guys!
1.If you are going to post amateur stuff lets stay clear from the 1000 photo random amateur post. There are tons of sites that one can go to to see stuff like that and if you dont know them, then pm me.

    2. If you are going to post amateur content lets condense the posts. Instead of making 8 different posts about some faceless girl just make one!

    3. If you are going to post amateur content then lets try and post good amateur content.

I think DI hit most of the topics that have been discussed around here lately, but let me add one more...

Obviously there are millions of amateur pictures available on the internet and there are also lots of amateur posts starting to pop up around here lately. It seems that a very large majority of the pictures that are being posted on the new amateur threads have already been posted in some of the longer-running posts around here.

Personally, I try my hardest to prevent ANY duplication of posted pics in my amateur thread, and I would just like to ask that anyone who is posting do the same.

Otherwise, we are going to end up with 100 different amtateur posts here, with a large portion of them containing the same pictures.

No I think if ya'll want to keep posting amateurs, post them in one of the established amateur threads......

Your not posting anything that is searchable by name anyway. Why clutter up the board and bump down the threads of other models and professional porn if the pics would and could go into one of the amateur threads anyway. It's not as if all the pics, replies, etc... in Capt'n (.Nyu), or Slayer's threads are posted by only them anyway. Why feel the need to start a new thread when you can add it to those?

sometimes the ones who created those threads feel that it is up to themto post material and not allow for others. I think in general if the thread starter puts his name in it then it should be up to them to update in it.

Can't we just make a new Amateur Only Forum and leave this one for the Models? Or is a new forum out of the question?

I surprised to read what a few of this forum’s “regular members” are saying.

Let me start off by saying that the “named amateur threads” are probably the ones I enjoy the most on this board. Yet, just because you post quality threads does not mean that you have more of a right to post on this board than say “johnny18”, “nv300zx”, or “nikos_13”. Welcome to the internet, an invention which facilitates and encourages the open sharing of information.

If you don’t like how things are going, it is sometimes worth it to bring it to the attention of the moderators through email or through private messages. However, when the common user starts to dictate how things are to be run, it results in the message board elitism that one finds throughout the web. It is that elitism which hurts forums the most and prevents people from making posts of their own.

I’m under the impression that more people posting is in this forum’s best interests – but please, feel free to correct me. While it is true that sometimes threads can be consolidated, you also don’t want every thread to become “So-and-so’s Amateur Thread”. There’s a middle ground, and proper moderation is key. Deleting a thread because the user posted a different amateur set earlier that day in a different location isn’t fair, nor is it against this forum’s rules.

I would like to suggest that either the rules be changed, or that users posting multiple threads at one time could be “recommended” to consolidate their posts.Taking a hard line isn’t necessary, and discourages posting just as much as the recent elitism… Take note that one quality user has already expressed that he doesn’t feel comfortable posting anymore – thanks to this thread.

I’ve been reading Phun.org for quite some time. I witnessed the birth of this forum, and I’ve been watching its growth since the day it began. It really is headed in the right direction, as long as members keep respecting one another.
