What is it you see? Could it be that even the attitude era was PG? Bah gawd King! It must be. That must mean that McMahon has always put out PG stuff. Remember one thing when talking about PG. PG means parental guidance, ok? "This program contains material that parents may find unsuitable for younger children." That quote is what goes with a PG rating. The "PG Era" which you brought up never existed except to people who don't know the difference between the ratings. That would be you.

The attitude era is dead and never coming back. Thank God for that. Although it was a magical time full of shock tv and boobs, it must not be replicated. The replication will always fall short of the original which I was fortunate to see live.

You ask why doesn't Vince bring back the old stuff? It's simple. He may own the company, but he has shareholders who also have a say. The WWE is a publicly traded company now. Has been for a while. You want another boom period with another Austin raising Hell each and every week? Not going to happen. Instead of that, you get Punk with his fake as a dog shit party favor "pipebombs".

Oh, and I seriously doubt Linda's political career had much to do with McMahon toning down the product. Everybody already knew what Vince was doing and what his product was. What would be the point in trying to sweep it under the carpet? Shit son. Vince had already beaten the Federal government in court when their star witness was Hulk Hogan.

 

Considering who you were responding to, I think you have no idea how pointless it was conjuring up that answer when you could have just said, "yeah, I miss divas in thongs too."
