    ha I had a closer look at the video and realized it wasn't CNN rather CNNN .. a parody of CNN. I did mispell surprisingly wrong though :(

    Would point out that CNNN (the Chaser- look 'em up on google) are Australian.

    Other amusing pranks they played in that series included asking Yanks to find certain countries (including Afghanistan and Iraq) on either a blank map of the world (funny) or one with the country's names moved to other countries- eg putting 'North Korea' on the Australian mainland and 'South Korea' on Tasmania and seeing if anyone found them out (hilarious)...

    However I'm sure if they did the same thing in downtown Sydney (which they have) or London or anywhere else for that matter, and edited out the people with a clue you'd get the same result...

    If you interview enough people i am sure there will be simple questions that some Britons can't answer as well. That's how late night comedy works here in the US. I am sure it is there as well. Besides, we might be fat but at least our teeth is clean. ;)

    The simple fact that you people keep insisting it is a British clip is confirmation enough, for me.

    I have CNNNN on DVD, so I didn't watch the clip.

    Is it the one where the guy asks a regular person off the street to name a country starting with U and they can't think of one... not even the the United States of America? In fact about 10 people either say Utah, Utopia or nothing at all.

    I love the one where he asks someone what religion Buddhist monks are... oh so funny.

    I suppose that's why British technology is light years ahead of American technology, right? Brits can't handle the basic concept of cooking, much less space travel. Don't get us wrong, you're our older, pimply, sun deprived, red-headed, step-brother, and we love you for that, but don't tread on ground where you have no basis. After all, if it wasn't for the dumb yanks, we'd be the only English speaking country in the world right now.
