    Eh, I'd chalk it up more to trying to put some distance between her and her ex than to throw it in his face. Think about it. You've got a hot young star with lots of young fans thanks to the Harry Potter movies (though they've been out long enough that most of the ones old enough to remember when the first one came out would at least be in their late teens by now) and a boyfriend embroiled in a drug scandal. Next move would be announce a split, but make it retroactive by saying it happened a while ago. Then reinforce that by having her show up with a new boyfriend so it not only looks like she's been broken up with the last one for a while, but also that she's truly moved on. Voila, she's been distanced a bit more from the mess that the ex has found himself in.
