Yep, must be some damned fine writing in that movie for her to grace it with her presence.

Yup, pretty much. No actor who speaks out on practically anything (except the easy thing, something like supporting a cause) is staying in the (favorable) spotlight. Can't say exactly why, but they just do not.

 

Yeah, except that's not quite what Heigl did. She's had a long history of being generally unpleasant to work with. When you have a long track record of highly successful projects you can get away with that, but not when you're part of an ensemble cast on TV.

Not to mention the fact that these pics made her look like she's gained about 15-20 pounds.

 

I see, well I was talking about her weird Golden Globe or Emmy thing with her nomination because of Grey's Anatomy. Plus it is known that her mother was/is her manager, while she and her singer husband adopted an Asian baby for humanity reasons. No matter what, you can't market that. Ok I should say I am not going to find her cool and sexy or am getting interested and I am straight in Filmland's target demographic.

 

One of the examples you just made was EXACTLY hte issue people have with Heigl's character. When she adopted she went out of her way to pat herself on the back that she adopted. Then she made a huge frigging deal about how her kid was special needs too. I read some of her quotes when it happened and it was really how self-inflated her ego is.

 

I guess money isn't the bottom line when someone is difficult. Too bad, she's a terrific comedic actress.

 

I think while I am addressing the marketing angle, you are more about her ego. Like I said, I don't find her [something] anymore, simply stopped checking up on her after the third GA season or so.

 

I guess I haven't looked at her in a long time.
