I always wondered why people think "She's legal" is a valid--or even not-slimy--excuse to say vulgar things about someone. Do you really think her legal status should make a difference? It used to be perfectly legal to beat your wife in many states; does that make it right? Better yet, did it only stop being right when the laws changed? As (I hope) you can see, this isn't a matter of legality, it's a matter of morality. Do you really think it's alright to say such vulgar things about a 16-year-old girl? I assume you do, based on your ALL CAPS response, (which also leads me to believe you might not be so far removed from 16 yourself...) but it's sometimes a positive to have the offending party actually admit to their flawed thinking. Having to physically type something as stunningly creepy as "Yes, I think it's okay to say a 16-year-old girl has blowjob lips" might shock your system enough to bring about a paradigm change.

 

And I'm sure a grown man saying something so vile to a sixteen year old would draw similar ire from non-scumbags in each of those countries.

 

If you think a 16 year old is mentally mature, and sexually evolved enough for a relationship with a grown man, then yes, I'm calling you and everyone who agrees a pervert. We all have a general sense of what is right and wrong and taking advantage of young girls who are easily influenced is wrong.

 

I think there is definitely a line here but its a wide and blurry one

most places globaly (even in the US ) consider 16-17 the age of consent Even the lamented paul walker was dating his fiancé at the age of 16 while he was 30ish its something that obviously varies from individual to individual
I agree on one hand that graphic comments about particularly younger celebs is probably best left to ones self , however at the same tiem attacking someone every time they express their affection for a particular celeb is also out of line

the biggest problem I see is that this stigma isn't even attacked evenly as those against itattack people for posting about chloe or bella but say nothing about taylor when she was 17 and flashing at shows or even keira knightly who was 16 at the time she flashed in the hole or Mila Jovavich when she was naked in a movie at 14 and any number of other examples. it seems as its all soely perceptual based on the the person attacking views that individual celeb

 

I'm kinda shocked. 31 American states have 16 listed as the age of consent. Federal law says it's 18. From there the rules twist and turn to accomodate each state. So I'll just say one more thing. How much did you truly understand about the world when you were 16? We all thought we had it all figured out back then didn't we? How wrong were we? Well I'm 33 and still learning something new everyday. Trying to bag a young girl is immoral and nothing more than taking advantage of her inexperience. I'll let you guys argue from here on.

 

I shouldn't be writing this but I think you guys are missing the main point J3scribe is making. It doesn't matter what the laws are or what any of us think is right or wrong, it's the Phun rules that apply here. They make the rules, people either follow them or they go somewhere else.
It's not worth getting banned or having this thread shut down by arguing or discussing viewpoints. Peace guys.

 

I think that is a good note to end the discussion on this topic in this thread on. As was stated by Cygnus, it is a matter of the rules as they are laid out here at phun. All else, while interesting conversation topic, is irrelevant.
