I think she looks sexy as fuck here. A genuine smile and confidence is far hotter than any amount of makeup.

Also without makeup I don't like her lips and I don't understand why people say that her mouth is beautiful....come on...be real!

 

I agree with the plane Jane comment. She's as pretty as your average girl next door, which is not a slam against her. I actually prefer women with less or no makeup so ScarJo's still a winner to me.

 

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but if that is her without makeup, she is below a lot of the women that I've been with. This goes to show you that with Hollywood money, you can make below average women with decent sized boobs be an international sex icon.

 

She is pretty but does not look like she does with all the make up. If I saw her on the street I would never guess it was her.

 

I can see the picture, therefore he isn't incompetent. And you have no idea what he was aiming for. The idea was to showcase the girl with no makeup so it makes sense that they would take a straight up picture with normal room lighting and a quick shot. I would guess that this is exactly what he or she meant to do.

As for her face, she does have exaggerated features and this is her face shape. I have to disagree with you on almost every point here, in fact, every point.

 

We need more photos for comparison. Judging anyone off a single picture is unreliable.

 

She is better looking than more than half of these hollywood types WITH their make up on.

Our ideal of beauty is based entirely on makeup and 99% of women on the planet whom we consider beautiful would look drab to us without it. The cake is a lie, welcome to the desert of the real, etc..

 

Very pretty face. Looks like someone fun to hang out with, and if they widened the shot to show her full bod, it would be way above average.

She has some makeup on there. That's what's known as the "no makeup" makeup look.

This is more along the lines of what I'm referring to.

 

the vanity fair photog was instructed to take no makeup photos with the equivalent of a polaroid instamatic, with no pre-lighting, single unequivocal shots

primitive in instructions, revealing in reality, every female I ever woke up next to, travelling together, this is how women look

glitz, glamour and tits is all secondary

the reason this was efforted was to get fat, unattractive women to join the mag, ain't no secret

 

Make-up does wonders.
