    Uhhh...no. Stop glorifying her. She didn't build an "empire." She was chosen. Could've been absolutely anybody else. The reason they chose her was because she had some stage presence through that program, like many pop icons before her. I'm not defending one over the other. They're all the same commercialized tools in my book. But to make the claim that she's some respectable figure because fortune landed on her lap is insulting to the millions of people who actually work tooth and nail and don't have the fortune of grabbing their crotch for a living.
