True! I noticed that about the Winter Olympics, when a female competitor took her crash helmet off and shook her long hair down, she was always wearing make up. And often looking pretty good.

 

With the ever present paparazzi female celebs have no choice but to go out in full makeup, otherwise they're on the cover of some rag with an article about how horrible they look or how they've let themselves go. It embarrasses them and it can hurt their careers. The guy who shot these probably got, depending on whether he sold them to a website or a mag and depending on how exclusive they were, between a couple of hundred to five hundred tops, maybe less. Now if Taylor looked like sh*t maybe up to a grand. That's why you get those shots of celebs holding their bags over their faces.
