    Disagree. 1000 dollar shorts only get you so far. laser ass treatments and 3 hours/day at the Health Club (don't call it "gym" whatever you do) go a bit further again, but.... there's still some sort of 'it' that only god can grant. > 50% of LA does not have 'it', the same as anywhere else in the world.

    I've lived in LA for 15 years now. Every beautiful girl from all over the US and all over the world flock to LA. 95% of the girls here have "it", even the waitresses wanting to be actresses or just plain famous are hotter than most girls on the planet. Don't go by what you see on tv, come to LA and see it for yourself. Hairdressers and makeup artists are 10's!

    I knew a guy swore that every hooter in Buenos Aires was a DD, and a nice one at that... I just don't buy it. But I will grant that I've not seen it firsthand. The closest I've been to LA is San Diego (yes I'm aware that this isn't 'that close') and while the hot girl ratio was admirably great, I just chalked that up to climate effects. Here lemme ask you, is it just maybe possible that when a girl would lick poo to get a movie role (or a commercial role even) that that kind of desperation shows up in their looks? That "hunger" is ugly, rather than hot, and that when "the industry" does snub and deride these vulnerable hopefuls, that the resultant bitterness further degrades whatever "it" they might have started with? I'd theorize that even athleticism coupled with lots of healthy sun and ready availability of the beauty treatments/hair services such as the LA marketplace affords... *can* still be neutralized by the unhealthy attitudes that, by your very argument, undisputedly pervade that part of the world. And remember STRESS IS VERY DAMAGING TO THE EPIDERMIS (quote from somewhere, I forgets) ;)
