Nuts, The Farewell Issue - May 2, 2014 (adds)

Damn.. I was hoping Demi Rose would eventually go nude on Nuts.

Exactly what I thought. Every cover was the exact same thing. I'd say this final issue is the most creative thing which they've ever released.

 

Okay, this last photoshoot is the best they've done this year. Classy as fuck, not "over the top" thematic or whatever... This is seriously good.

But it was time. I actually got a statement and this is mostly WHY I didn't comment on any shoots Nuts has done over the last two years. But I can't go on before I say this:

THANKS to the contributors! You've done a great job at posting scans, videos and everything! You've all done a great job!

Since 2-3 years, the photoshoots were staled, not boring but the same... just a different model or whatever. Some "better ones" have been overshadowed all the time by the "most preferred ones" so there was no point of "variety" and... this is not an all-star issue at all. I mean... how about inviting the absent ones and the legends (Lindsey Strutt, Sophie Howard, Ewa Wyrwal, Michelle Marsh, Nicole Neal, Danielle Sharp, Sophie... Keeley Hazell, damn it!). No need of showing everything, just make a "sexy" appareance. But it was done pretty quick, I feel it. This is like: these are the ones who were still in because they still need money. Sure half of them understood and they made EVEN MORE pics than any other models who are supposed to be the famous ones... looking at you Holly Peers and Rosie Jones... Go see what Jessica Davies, Melissa Debling and Lucy Collett have done...

Anyway, I got more mature. Honestly, I was happy with some photoshoots during the last years but 2014 was going to be a very bad year because it was the same thematic again and again and again. There was no point. Best example: Jessica-Jane Clement did one of the very best photoshoots... two-three years ago... but it had to be Rosie Jones so it could be "perfection" and yes, it was a great photoshoot. Sure it's a shame for the ones who have to find a new job... having this magazine as a "backlog" so they'll find job at websites covering the same "two subjects" if you see what I mean. It's a shame for these models who need some exposure but... after Loaded (which abandoned the "glamour stuff" almost entirely), Front and Nuts... Zoo will follow so it's only a matter of time before they shut it off. Digital is the future after all. This shutdown is also the result of this damn "Premium" stuff they've done because "fuck you give me money"... And even the premium wasn't that protected and it offered less and less...

I found the trick for the larger pics on their website and this began to go all over the place. I was glad to see that. Well, maybe I wasn't the first but I posted the trick and it had some... advantage. This is a shame, I know... but I do think it's well deserved and we had to expect it. And between us... Lucy Collett has done a fantastic set for SuicideGirls. If you can find it, go check it out. It worths more than every single photoshoot she has done. The best shoot of the last three years, it was done by Danielle Sharp and I'm not saying this because she's great (that's an opinion) but in terms of "everything and quantity", a photoshoot with more than 100 photos being available, this was something incredible. It was classy, hot... everything good.

This last photoshoot is great and it pisses me off. Why didn't they do more of this? Something simplistic... I don't know... Anyway, it's over. Good riddance.

 

So long, slappers! I'll empty my NUTS later as a sign of respect. Or something.

 

Maybe other photographers who do artistic nudes would start working with models like Nicole Neal. :scratchchin:

 

Since Nuts was the ones banning the girls from going full frontal, maybe I can finally see my dream come true of seeing Holly and Rosie full frontal!!

One can dream...

 

Really is a shame to see it go. Nuts brought so many babes out through the years. Lucy Pinder, Michelle Marsh, Eva Wyrwal, Sammy Braddy plus the latest crop of Rosie, Stacey, Joey, Holly and Lucy C. Don't think it'll be too long till a replacement to Nuts comes about.

 

While I love all those girls and also liked the shots Nuts was releasing I have to say I'm really surprised they have been able to keep the magazine going for such a long time. I mean, who in his right mind buys this mag as a hard copy? The text was complete bullshit and the pictures are boring the second you've seen them. Doing an online only magazine would make some sense, but a regular paper magazine? Not really. Still sad to see them go.

 

I bought a couple of them. Really crappy content but I have no problem paying to see girls like Holly, India, Sabine, Lucy and Rosie every week.
