you're taking some of the things i said out of context. if you read my post again, you will see that i said i do understand the reason for the laws, and i have no problem with their logic. i never said i dislike the laws. i am in favor of these laws.

i'm excluding morality, and i'm talking from a purely biological standpoint. it is an important difference. a lot of people can't cope with the fact that we are just animals, albeit smart ones. biologically, as organisms, the idea is to reproduce as much as possible. that is a fact. that's all there is to it. if that was unnatural, then whatever you believe in, God or evolution or both, would have prevented girls from having the ability to become pregnant until they were 18 or whatever number you like. there has been a biological reason for this propagational need until extremely recent history.

a 15 year-old is not a child. i'm only pointing this out because you capitalized the word child, so i'm taking you literally on it. a child is a person between birth and puberty. she is no longer a child.

you're right, i don't know what pregnancy at the age of 11 would do to a girl's body. can you tell me? as far as i know, there are no physical consequences related to a pregnancy at a young age. you said "body," so i'd like to hear about what you know. the only thing i can think of would have to do with the underdevelopment of pelvic expansion of the female at that age, but even that normally occurs starting at age 10. of course, there are other factors related to being young and pregnant that are negative.

while i do not support pedophilia in any way, i also think it's being on a bit of a high horse to bash people for finding a completely sexually mature teen in revealing clothes attractive. human males have a congenital reason for the attraction. if you are familiar with the sexual maturity rating system, then you will know that a 14-15 year-old female, on average, is considered to be completely sexually mature. there is basically no difference between a physically sexually mature 15 year-old and an 18 year-old. another fact. again, don't get hung up on a number that allows you to feel okay about wanting to have sex with an 18 year-old versus it being the most wrong thing ever to want to do the same with a 15 year-old.

it's fine if you find my post disgusting, but i hope i was able to clear some things up about what i was saying and from what standpoint. i'm not looking to start wars either, and i appreciate your well-thought post and opinion.

mind. of course we can not help whom we're attracted too, but we definitely can control the outlets to which we voice and base an opinion on the matter. i really don't understand the need to write something as the person i first responded to did about a barely 15 year old girl. and while we're on that matter of determining whether a 15 year old should be considered a child [or in this case old enough to be looked at as a sexual object]; you are aware aren't you that adolescence covers the ages from 10 to 19?

i have lots of links that get into specifics regarding this issue that you'll probably find interesting, i'll post them here or pm them to you in a short while. in short: the birth canal in most cases is not prepared in which it may tear. this happens with woman who are fully mature also, but in a child's case it can be much worse, causing the bowel to tear which can then lead to very serious infection. keep in mind that a female's body is very open to infection after birth anyway.

i do not think she looks sexually mature at present. while she may be able to carry a child and give birth, i do not think that's significant enough to base a theory on, that being; if she can conceive then she's old enough be to lusted after. that's what I've based my post on. to me she looks like a child. i can not fathom how you see no difference between a 15 year old and a 18 year old? the odds of her body maturing and becoming more womanly in the next two years are high. if that's what you meant, then there are many physical changes that occur in those two years for most females.

When I used 'disgusting' I was referring the the memeber's post that wrote how he'd like to bang her or something like that. If that was your post, then I do find that gross.

yes, i am aware that adolescence is often considered to be between the ages of 10-19. a 15 year-old is still not a child, however.

while the occurrence of vaginal tearing while giving birth is quite common at ANY age, i agree that it may be worse in an underdeveloped female. however, i don't see that as an example considering it's not specific to young female pregnancies. your original post to me stated: "do you have any idea what pregnacy can do to a girls body of that age? I guess not." i know about vaginal tearing. that's a given. you implied that there are specific consequences to pregnancy at that specific age.

i see a lot of girls of which i have no idea if they are 15 or 18. you say you cannot fathom how i could think that, so you are telling me you have never experienced this? i've seen 14 year-old girls that look 20. you never know these days with the way girls dress, carry themselves, etc., and some girls develop extremely quickly and are very mature for their age. my first girlfriend was 14 when i was 16, and she looked at least 18. nobody ever believed that she was 14. meanwhile, i looked about 2 years younger than i was. we went out for 3 years, and i can't say she became any more sexually developed during that time. she pretty much looked exactly the same, too. in some cases, you can guess an age, and in some cases, you'd be dead wrong.

so, in relation to my last sentence, i think it's all just relative, case-dependent, and personal opinion. so, in a case where a girl is 15 but looks 18, is attraction okay there? if she is 18 but looks 15, then what? "18" means "okay" and "15" means "hell no" and that's the way it is, even if the 15 year-old can look 18 and vice-versa? when there are so many factors to consider in sexual attraction, a simple two-digit number seems to me a bad way to be specific about what's okay and what's not. please note that i'm only talking about physically sexually mature females.

like i said, if you are talking about a specific person like jamie lynn spears, then it is opinion-based. that's fine. however, making generalities about 1 age in a small age bracket, when in many cases 15-18 year-olds can look the same and be equally sexually mature, doesn't make sense to me. but that's my opinion.
