To further perpetuate the thread derailment, I want to elaborate here. I agree that a too thin landing strip defeats the purpose, but also, if it's too thin and touches right to the clit, then when you look at it, the hair and the pussy form one long line. This adds credence to having a shaved space in between the bottom of the strip and the clit. It breaks it up.
