She claims the nude pics will hurt her career. She's either stupid or a hypocrite because she's probably wider known around the world now than she ever was. And it isn't for her "talents".

 

So that hurts her chances on getting the more serious parts, because she probably doesn't want to be known as "chick that flaunts her body"
Not saying she has the talent for serious parts (I don't know) but I can see how it hurts her a bit.

 

If she loses out on parts that she would have normally been considered for or she starts lowering her price then I will believe it to be true. But until then ...

 

Yeah I heard they were going to replace JLaw in the last Hunger Games movie because of her leaks.

 

THAT is really sad! It is not like she did anything wrong. Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton became household names because of their sex tapes and here Jennifer is getting screwed over because she took some private pictures. I certainly hope the news is not true!

I still have no idea what her body of work consists of other than High School Musical and Spring Breakers. I doubt she'd have even had the role in Spring Breakers without the nudie leaks, it got her noticed as something other than a Disney actress.

based on how big the first 2 movies were, i highly doubt it. paramore's lead singer tweeted a topless photo publicly by mistake and took it down minutes later, but it was too late. people downloaded it and spread it across the net. a big part of paramore's fanbase is teenager girls and i hear paramore's new songs on the radio all the time. it hasn't affected the group's success one bit. j lawrence is the hunger games. you can't replace her with another person at this point without making an inferior movie. that would lose the movie studio more money than it would from a few uptight christians that now won't take their kids to see the 3rd movie. it's still going to make a shitload of money. not to mention j. lawrence is a big star and draws fans to whatever she's in at this point. replacing her with a lesser name and likely a worse actor is just plain stupid. throwing cash out the window.

 

Yea, she does the "High School Musical" thing and not many offers , THEN the 1st nudes come leaking out and a couple of b movie offers (2nd set of nudes). So, after not too many more offers she does, "Spring Breakers" (which we all copied like fiends.
Then still no big offers, then "The 2014 Fappening" and she's back in the spotlight! Vanessa, sweetie, do a "Showgirls" NC-17 movie or a "Blue is the Warmest Color" UR film and we'll support the HELL out of you!!!!!!!!

 

Let's hope it helps her career. Her buddy and co star Ashley Tisdale hasn't done much since High School musical either and maybe this is a wake up call for Ashley Tisdale to be more seductive to get noticed.
