New studies suggest that heavy marijuana use interferes with how the brain prioritizes stimuli and indeed can manifest itself into (or exacerbate) psychosis and schizophrenia. Although it's hard to get someone help when they hate you. I do give Amanda's parents credit for making such a valiant effort.

 

But she took her off the meds. She's responsible for the relapse.

I've taken it for insomnia as an off-label use, but it's actually an anti-psychotic. She was probably already on it.

 

Poor girl, metal illness is a horrible thing no matter what brings it on . I hope this ends well.

Leave her alone? Mental illness or not, she brought all this on herself. No one cared and she literally dropped off the radar when she started getting help. As soon as she stopped her meds and started getting irregular again, that's when the paps came out.

 

I glad to see that she is being helped. Hope she has a complete recovery.

 

how do you bring mental illness upon yourself? Do you also get pissed at kids with Downs Syndrome if they can't read something out loud? And those damn cancer patients...leaving their hair all over the floor...Jesus dude

There's a video of the whole thing, the girl is nuts and she was tricked into going to that hospital. Really sad to see this because she was so cute and talented.
