    Let's see...in this film she wears no makeup at all (minus the scarring that was applied) & she is playing the survivor of a horrific accident -- who also suffers from chronic pain because of the accident. She spends alot of the flick grimacing because of the pain. So, she is not meant to be pretty.

    That said...it's a good movie & it is the best role she has ever done.
