    It was better than Beyonce and Black Eyed Peas but all of their music is complete garbage. KP's music is at least mildly catchy.

    As far as half time at the SB goes, its always bad. It doesn't really matter who is playing. Tom Petty and Prince may have been the best acts but it's still just high edited crap meant to play all the hits in about 15 minutes.

    I don't "hate" Katy Perry, I just hate her music, but that's just a personal choice made by a heterosexual male over the age of 13.

    What I really hated was her appearing as the Half Time show at the Super Bowl. Couldn't they have found something better that would at least have a little bit for the adults? I drowned out the sound by mixing guacamole in the food processor for the Tostitos and cracking open Corona's for my house guests.

    I'm a big classic rock guy, that is my choice of music before anything else... but even I am tired of the usual Aerosmith, U2, Bruce Springsteen type appearances during the halftime shows. I felt like Katy Perry did a good job in entertaining me more than the last 15 years of Super Bowls... the lip syncing could have been a little bit better though haha

    This was a great halftime performance. Katy is a great performer, and an amazing singer. From the standpoint of stage-presence and overall performance, this was right on par with Beyonce a couple years ago.

    Lenny Kravitz on a simple stage with his band, plugged into stacks of Marshall amps, jammin' out Kravitz tunes for 15 minutes, minus all the ridiculous theatrical nonsense would have been better than any SB halftime show ever. If I were Lenny I wouldn't have even bothered showing up for that paltry amount of time. It's not like he needs the money. The perks must have been pretty enticing.
