WOW! Suprized they made such a production of her friendship with Karlie. There very close but I'm still not convinced that its a sexual one. However, with all the overtones in the pictorials I might be wrong. Shes' real close with Lorde and the Haim sisters too so... She cant be bedding everybody or can she..?

 

Anybody with the monetary clout of TS has a multitude of agents, handlers, PR consultants, etc. who would certainly be keenly aware of her image, even if TS isn't (which itself is not likely, imo). I can think of several reasons for a spread like this:
1. they are a couple, and with the growing acceptance of same-sex relationships, this is judged by her people to not harm, and maybe even enhance, her image;
2. they are not a couple, but her handlers still think it is OK for some of the public to think they are (such as lesbian fetishists and pervs like many of us);
3. they are not a couple, but TS wants to be a force in the fashion/modeling world, and this relationship legitimizes her for that new direction in her career;
4. they are just friends, and know that their combined beauty can sell anything, and they get paid huge sums.

Another reason to NOT make any public statement, directly confirm - think of all the "free' publicity, an open shots that gives to all her ex's. What would they say. - What they need to do now (they =Karlie included), in about 3-6 months do a really intense four-some for a good photoshoot. Oh and then the next 2 are guys, just to make sure readers minds are correct.

 

Whether they're a "couple" or not, this photo shoot was meant to titillate and make people wonder.

 

These two are clearly a couple who are hot for each other and can't keep their hands off each other. Nobody can deny this.
