    I'm guessing HBO has a new season of GOT coming soon as we have been seeing their cast featured in magazines a lot over the last couple of months. Won't that leave just one book left until they run out of material? Even if they split that into 2 more seasons, and George R.R. Martin delivers number 6 in early 2016, you have to figure book seven won't be published until 2020 at the earliest. If the author lives that long, and doesn't decide to add an 8th book to the series. I get the feeling they may make that one into a movie. Which is fine as long as they don't give it The Hobbit treatment and split it into 3 features. Peter Jackson really made a mess of that book. A charming tale made into one long chase/battle scene.

    You have to figure they will likely replace some of the cast if the series/movies drags on for another decade.

    There have already been articles about this. George has told them the ultimate end point and they are just going to move to the end without him.
