    You know back in the 70's when I was a teenager at a Catholic, boys only school in Ireland, the Christian Brothers who ran the institution - oops sorry school, were well aware that that we were at the age where we were beginning to have "impure thoughts" and might engage in immoral acts like masturbation. So they wheeled in a priest to address what they believed was the most important issue -how we could raise these terrible sins in confession!! The key phrase after the "bless me father for I have sinned" was "I did a bad action alone".
