we need to stop using "fappening" where it isn't needed so that threads like this stop showing up when you search "Fappening" to see if anything new has popped up...

every single thread could have someone wishing for the fappening to hit said star (again, or for the first time) and all that happens for months now is people get their hopes up when a new thread shows up after they search the keyword..

should be banned unless new photos actually show up

 

I think it's a little unfair to say his using the word 'fappening' here is 'unnecessary' just because it messes with the search.

 

How so? Like I said, someone can pop into literally every single thread on these boards and make a comment referring to the fappening or how they wish said person was in it or how they wish said person had more photos in it.

It should be reserved for the actual photos/video that deal with the actual event/circumstances

 

I get what you're saying, but there is literally no way to enforce a policy like that. My original point still stands too, that Brother Foeplay stating that we need another Fappening is not an unnecessary use of the word. How else would someone express the sentiment if they couldn't use the exact terminology? Should he censor himself and say Foppening?

Yes, obviously we need another fappening. We all hope it happens again and we all hope it happens again to all the actresses and models we find hot/sexy.

I get what you're saying, too, that it's likely impossible to enforce such a thing but who knows.

Considering how the original F@ppening was a major news-story world wide, any further leaks will also be a hot topic.

It isn't very likely that someone will be doing a random search in the hope that there's something new.

Also a second thing to consider, all the F@ppening images on phun were well grouped into each girls thread, all put into celeb extra section. Easy to find, easy to specify in search options.

 

I'm more concerned with the fact the word HOTEL had to be shouted in the title

I know, the difference is for Playboy there's an easy way to find out if some celeb is going to or has posed. You can go to their site or search on social media.

The "f***ening" was such a mega-event with a lot of it not displayed outside of forums such as this, that when you search and new threads pop up, you have an immediate "OMG" reaction only to find out it's just another "I wish..." or "any more of her from the ____" and it's gotten annoying and ridiculous.

 

If it is such an issue for the search, you could always present it in the Forum Issues thread. Maybe a bulletin can be made telling people to spell it differently. I, for one, will now always do my part to make Phun a better place by referring to that event as The Foppening.

 

If it's just like a wannabe foppening will it be a fauxpenning?
