She publicly gives the "I'm not going to date" interviews talking about how any relationship goes public and she hates that and is going to work from now on to keep her relationships as private as possible. Then she starts cavorting around with hot models, getting very, very cozy. Then rumors start.

Then all of a sudden, out of the blue, and while she is in the middle of a tour preparation, she starts an incredibly high profile "romance" with some guy who is not super-famous, but famous enough to be known. From the very start, they are more open, more public than any relationship she has ever had before.

Could it be real? I guess it's possible. But it screams of Taylor's PR staff thinking that her cuddling with hot models was hurting her in her demographic and they sat down and planned out a high profile "romance" with some "sort of famous" guy who would be up for the rub he will get by being known as "one of Taylor Swift's boyfriends."

I could just be cynical but...

 

But during this time Taylor has become the biggest Pop Star on the planet, with more success than she's ever had before. There is no demographic that she has been hurting in. Her demographic also really loves her hot model friends, with Karlie Kloss being particularly well-loved among Taylor's fans. The "Calvin relationship is just PR" theory just doesn't make much sense.

 

Taylor's key demographic has changed and if her doing two VS shows in a row didn't hurt I don't think the possibility of her being bi or lesbian would either. Note I said "possibility". Either way according to the paps this was a "sleep-over" date. It doesn't matter to me, whether she's straight, bi or lesbian or whether she likes them tall or short I have exactly the same shot with her, zero.
