So happy for Alexandra and my eye balls. Outstanding choice. Now let's hope there's a nude scene.

 

If there's gonna be a nude scene in the movie, it will come from one of the extras. I really doubt we're gonna get anything from the main cast.

 

Alexandra's casting isn't surprising. Rock liked her audition for San Andreas and she's probably going to follow him as far as she can go.

She is cast as a lead. She may get nude again for a role in a respectable movie, but is highly unlikely to get nude in this type of movie.

She does acknowledge the type of movie it is and tweeted the following, "Thank you! Extremely excited. Been practicing my slow-mo run all morning."

 

With Alex's casting, it now becomes essential that the female lifeguards wear bikinis. And it's only fair -- the female equivalent of a man in swim trunks is a woman in a bikini, not a one-piece.

 

Some one pieces emphasize the rack more than bikinis do.

 

I figured she'd be a shoe in since she's already worked with The Rock before. She needs to be Caroline, she does remind me a tad of Yasmine after all. Still rooting for Ashley as CJ.

 

Is it too late to hope that Kate Upton or Charlotte McKinney will get a role in this film?

They're certainly 'built' for such a film.

 

There IS justice and goodness in the world.

 

Maybe as the Pam Anderson character? Although I get the feeling that they'll get someone more "highbrow" (yet still blonde and busty) as it is likely a significant role.

The source is out there, but The Rock stated that Baywatch will be about sexy bodies, it will be rated R, it will be raunchy, and have nudity. Zac E pretty much said the same on twitter. I have to say I'm unusually optimistic about this one. Alex went nude in American Horror last night, though not much was shown, she seems comfortable being filming while buck naked.

Would not have been my first choice. Renee Olstead, on the other hand.

 

Unfortunately, it looks like they're going to have the hot actresses wear those body-covering one pieces. Those are sort of iconic, I know, but I think having them all wear bikinis would be one update that nobody would object to!

She, or Carla Gugino, would be good for the Alexandra Paul part of the older female life guard/Rock's love interest.

I see Ashley Benson as more of a Summer. (Nicole Eggert's character, if I recall correctly)

 

Lifeguards don't wear bikinis on the job. But even on the series the girls weren't always on the job, and were seen in bikinis quite often.

 

What about McKayla Maroney? She looks for new jobs is fit, strong and curvy.
