    Hmmm then by your logic I wonder how Kate Winslet won for Steve Jobs and Brie Larson won for Room over performances with nudity by Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara in Carol, and Alicia Vikander in Ex Machina AND The Danish Girl! X)


    Ha, I actually love that movie. Visually stunning, powerful, and one of the best depictions of depression I've seen in a film. Dunst should been recognized even more then she was that year for her performance. She showed her tits but where was her Golden Globe, SAG, Oscar noms?! :p


    PS I'm also disappointed Dunst lost to Gaga. I like Gaga, but what Dunst did especially in the season finale was tremendous.

    Kate Winslet has been nude onscreen so many times both sexy/unsexy, she gets the Monica Bellucci/Maggie Gyllenhall/Helen Mirren pass. (You know the actresses that play the part instead of playing the STAR) Nude this time or not, you always know if it had been part of the character they'd do it without whining about it. So she gets a pass on nudity when appropriate.
