    I think less makeup than lighting - can't exactly expect professional-level shots from paparazzi.

    She was in the latest issue of CNET magazine, and in one pic in particular she looked different. Different to the point that my wife asked me if she had had work done. So I dunno, could be.

    Yes, it's been mentioned a bunch she's had work done in the last year to make herself look less Asian. It's very obvious if you put two pictures next to each other.

    IIRC, she is culturally half Vietnamese, but genetically half Chinese. Like her mother's family was Chinese but lived in Vietnam.

    that's funny because for a few years there it seemed like she was playing up her Asian-ness on purpose
