    I find this works fine for all non-streaming media plug-ins:

    1. Follow the link to the page.
    2. Hit the stop button on the plug-in player, and stop the page loading.
    3. Depending on the browser you're using, view the source of the page. It'll either come up in the browser window or in a text file.
    4. Ctrl+F and open the 'find' dialog
    5. Type in 'wmv' (without quotes)
    6. It'll highlight (and take you to) the tail end of the url for the media file - in this case it'll be:

    Then paste the link into your favorite download manager and you're away.
